Block printed first, then embroidered. The Mistflower layers two techniques on indigo denim because one was not enough to say what it needed to.
Indigo denim. Gold highlights on the central chamunti flower, silver on the smaller blooms on either side. Two metals, two scales of flower, one considered composition. It reads across a room.
The anchor cushion on a low sofa or diwan. A bedroom where the bed is dressed simply and the accents carry the room. A centrepiece where everything else defers to it.
Part of the RPS x Nicobar collection. Named for the Mistflower. Chamunti flowers at rest, expressed in indigo and careful craft.
